This relationship-based program is designed to enhance attachment between parents and children. Participants will learn how 1. to establish a secure base that gives children a sense of safety; 2. develop observational skills to strengthen relationships. The eight week COS program will be run over a four week period with two weeks combined for each night. Cost – $40 per person. |

Understanding Teens |
Understanding Teens aims to assist parents of teens in gaining insight into the changes that their teens may be experiencing. The Understanding Teens Program can assist the Parent with strategies and techniques that will help the Parent to manage “those troublesome years” by assisting the Parent to find the balance between supporting their teen’s desire to be independent and keeping them safe. The parents will learn about some basic physiological changes during the teen years and how the changes in technology are impacting on their relationships with their children. The program focuses on improving communication within the family and will increase the parent’s sensitivity to their child’s emotional signals and to increase their ability to reflect on their own behaviour and how it influences that of their child. Working With Strong Emotions is a group for women, hoping to better understand their strong emotions; by learning the origin and purpose of their emotions, building self-awareness, and learning mindfulness and other strategies to manage and express how they are feeling. The Cool Kids with ASD |
Cool Kids is a world renowned program that uses CBT and other therapeutic processes to teach young people how to better manage their anxieties. Parents/carers are supported to help their children on this journey. Sanctuary Aus specialises in providing the Cool Kids program to young people who face the additional challenges of life on the Autism Spectrum and whose every day experiences can cause them high levels of anxiety. Sanctuary Aus is an approved NDIS Agency. The cost for the entire program, for the child/young person and their parent/carers, as well as the cost of workbooks for all involved, is $1,500. |

Club Mojo: Managing My Emotions and Building Self-Esteem |
Helping young people (8 to 12 years old) to recognise their emotions; and to understand how to deal with their feelings in a safe and healthy way. Children will explore how they react to feelings and how they might be able to gain more control for a better outcome. Young people are assisted in finding strategies to build self-esteem and encourage healthy expression of thoughts and feelings. Club Mojo uses a range of creative and therapeutic techniques. Cost: $350. |

Transform Parenting |
Transform Parenting is unlike other programmes in that it focuses on the parent rather than the child. It is a safe circle of mothers and facilitated by Tracey Anderson Askew in Canberra. Each week explores a different theme and completes with a weekly relaxation exercise. This is typically a class for babies from 0 to 8 months old. Cost $250. |
